I just found a very strange, yet pretty insect in my backyard, what could it be?

Ok, I was just cleaning up the dogs mess outside when I saw something larva looking like. I said allright! I've always wanted to raise a larvae to a coocoon. But when I looked at it closer, It had an ants hard head, it has a koala looking face, it has 6 legs on the front, and 8 suction pads on the back, about a centimeter away from it rear side, it has a antenna looking tail. It had black and neon yellow stripes, and its suction pads and rear are neon orange with little black spots, what is it? The only thing that attracted my attention about it was its very pretty colors, what could it be? It has hard legs.
