Phone!!! Help!! AT&T .. affordable??

I posted this question a while ago no one answered... I have a question.. My dad is getting me a new phone.. but it has to be affordable. I want the Palm Centro! is that affordable? and if it is.. is it a good phone? If it isn't than what phone do you recommend from AT&T?
